Our Curriculum

Sensory-motor Development

Sensory and motor development takes place in infants and toddlers when they begin to learn how to use and coordinate their leg and arm muscles. It is a gradual yet crucial process as they learn to interact with the different elements around them.

At Nurture Infant House Tampines, there is a wide range of interesting activities held in a safe and stimulating environment that will help develop your child’s gross and fine motor skills.

Language and Cognitive Growth

Language and cognition are closely related to a child's development. Cognition refers to how we think, learn and remember, while language is about how ideas are communicated across to others.

Your infant's brain is rapidly making sense of the world through interactions with our caregivers. With the relevant age-appropriate materials at our centre, your child will learn to absorb the basic and distinct sounds of language. This will help pave their way towards establishing a strong foundation for speech.

Creative Stimulation through Sense

Creative experiences are an outlet for children to express their thoughts and feelings. It fosters mental growth as they learn to be more inquisitive, gradually building up a sense of exploration.

Our centre has a specially designed environment for infants and toddlers that utilizes colours, play tools, textures and sounds. This engages each and every child's five senses through the different learning activities prepared for them.

Social and Emotional Connection

Social and emotional development is an important aspect of child development. Learning to cultivate strong social skills from a young age can allow for better relationships to be established, creating a positive impact on their well-being.

Through responsive and interactive communication between your child and our caregivers, your child will learn about the various moods, gestures and emotions as his or her personality develops.
