Did you know that as a Singaporean / PR, you can borrow up to 32 books? 16 physical and 16 Ebooks.

When children are still infants, they learn via their auditory senses instead of sight.
So, reading to your children will train their language skills.
For your older children, age 5 and above, you can borrow the physical books them. For younger children, try borrowing audio books to stimulate their language skills.
Here at Nurture Infant House / (Genesis Childcare 1989), we have dedicated reading and story telling time for our children every week.
We believe that regular and frequent efforts to read to our children will help them discover the joy of reading, not to mention the ability to excel in school later on😊

Go for trial enrichment courses instead of signing on the full package
With some research, you can bring your children for trial enrichment classes for as low as $15! These can include story telling/reading, creative writing or even gymnastics. Some other enrichment lessons that can be considered are robotics, suitable for children that are above 5 years old.
Trial lessons are good because you can gauge your child’s interest and ability in the area, without spending too much money. It can also be a time where you can chill and relax (even if it is just for a little while). If you would like to find out more, do contact us for more information.
Use the resources that you have, try and increase the resources too

In busy Singapore, many parents have to take on multiple roles. Parent, son/daughter, son/daughter in law, friend, worker, colleague, friend.
As parents, it might be difficult to fully fulfill all the needs of your child.
Consider this: You will need to cook, feed, clothe and provide for your child but at the same time, teach him the values and skills that you want him to learn. It is a tremendous, time-consuming task for 2 people!
Review the resources that you have. Are you in any parents support group? Do you have a group of friends who are in the same life stage as you and you can count on them for some timely advice or support when needed? How about your extended family? Can they help to look after your child or assist in taking care of your child when you need to work late sometimes? Can you increase the resources that you have to look after your child?
