Your baby might have unique temperament or personality.

As your baby gets older, he will outgrow his crying and the fussiness he feels in a stroller, bouncer or car seat.

Tips

- Settle your baby first.

Avoid putting your baby into a bouncer, car seat or stroller when he is already fussing or crying. This may cause him to cry more louder.

Wait until your baby is calm and happy.

- Calm your baby down and distract him.

Put your baby on his back on a play mat, a blanket on the floor, or in his crib.

Give your baby a snack, a mobile or toy to play and listen to white noise or music.

Put your baby into his car seat or stroller again.

- Try a change of scenery.

Your baby might calm down if he has a better view.

Place your bouncer in front of a mirror.

Attach safe toys to your baby’s car seat for him to play with.

Bring your baby’s car seat into home.

Strap your baby in it at home and play with him while he is in the seat.

Your baby might start to feel a little more comfortable and happier when he is buckled in.

- Carry your baby.

Carry your baby in a sling or carrier that keeps him as near to you as possible.

This let your hands free to take care of stuffs while you are wearing your baby.

Do not wear your baby in the car when you are driving.

- Stay in sight.

Touch your baby and talk to him.

If you are in a car and not driving, sit next to your baby in the backseat, talk, sing or play with him.

If you are driving, try adjusting the front mirror in car that you can see your baby and he can see you.
