In this article, I will be sharing with you some annoying child habits which are actually normal. Do not worry!
1. Say ‘NO’ to anything.
Do not worry. This happens because your child suddenly realize he can say “NO” too.
When your child said ‘NO’, don’t get agitated because he is not meant to rebel you.
Let your child decide a few things for himself.
For example, let your child to choose what to eat or wear.
Not only ask many questions repeated each time, but your child also expect you to respond each time.
Repetition is often the best way to learn something new.
Be patient and answer your child’s questions. This helps him shape his perception of the world around him.
3. Wake up in the middle of the night.
This might happen because your child either gone through a huge emotional event or learned something new during the latter half of the day.
Plan new and exciting activities during the first half of the day.
4. Cry suddenly.
You might notice your child crying because you stopped him from watching his favourite cartoon or TV program.
Your child cries when you ask your him to go time out for behaving badly.
Set consistent and practical rules for your child to follow.
5. Refuse to eat.
Your child used to have good appetite.
You might realize your child reject even his favourite dishes and have leftover in his plate.
This might also be because your child have a sudden desire to keep playing all the time.
Do not force your child if he doesn’t feel like eating.
Nothing to worry when your child still meet all his growth milestones even if he refuses to eat.
6. Choose what to eat.
When your child recognizes tastes, he tends to be fussy and chooses what to eat.
Improve and encourage your child to eat.
