In this article, I will be sharing some common reasons why doesn’t your baby want to sleep?
Your baby is overtired.
Your baby is too weary or overtired, hence he is crying.
Do not miss a time when your baby is sleepy. A gentle touch may have lulled your baby into a deep nap.
Trying to calm an overtired baby to sleep is much more difficult than getting a non-tired baby to sleep.
You must control your baby’s sleeping schedule and pay attention to his cues and sign language.
Your baby might be going through separation anxiety.
When your baby is a ninth or tenth month old, he might be going through separation anxiety and sleep regression.
Your baby is overstimulated.
Overstimulation can be caused by a large gathering of people surrounding the baby, changes in routine, or active activity that interferes with bedtime.
It can cause chemicals to be released that can harm your baby’s brain.
If your baby is breastfeeding and milk contains caffeine from a recent drink, it may cause your baby to be agitated as he is not adapted to digesting chemicals.
Your sociable baby finds sleepiness annoying.
Your baby might be interested in almost everything around him.
He loves to observe you, stares at you, feels you by touching your mouth or face and copies or imitates your movements.
When your baby does not get enough sleep, he is deprived of everything around him.
Your baby cries because he is unable to communicate his distress at being sleepy.
